Import image descriptions

Folling the preparation of images for description, GreenLight can import and apply all descriptions quickly and easily.

Importing image descriptions from SIDD

To import and apply all the alt text added to SIDD:

1. Choose the GreenLight Image Tools panel (GreenLight Tools > Image Tools)
2. Click Simple Image Descriptions (SIDD) and Open the SIDD in the dialog shown and check that the SIDD is connected and complete
3. Click Import image descriptions and OK in the dialog shown to quickly apply all the added descriptions to the images and regions in the active document
   

Importing image descriptions from a local file

For users unable to use the modern SIDD approach… to import and apply all the alt text using the lo-tech local approach:

1. Choose the GreenLight Image Tools panel (GreenLight Tools > Image Tools)
2. Click Import image descriptions and navigate to the prepared spreadsheet file (in .tsv format) to apply descriptions
