Uploading a ShowCase cover
Quickly upload GreenLight generated covers to become 3D interactive models using MasterPlan's ShowCase feature
ShowCase requires an existing GreenLight created cover document. For more information on how to create a GreenLight cover see the Creating print ready covers to publisher specs tutorial.
Along with perfectly made print ready exports, an additional benefit of using GreenLight to generate covers is that they are ready to become interactive 3D models with ShowCase.
As the online ShowCase is hosted with MasterPlan, it is important to be connected to the correct MasterPlan client:
- GreenLight Custom users are automatically connected to their MasterPlan
- GreenLight PRO users can choose GreenLight Set-Up menu > Connect to a MasterPlan client to enter the Client Number (for more info see Connecting GreenLight to a MasterPlan Client)
NB: The ISBN from the GreenLight Cover Info panel is used as the MasterPlan Job Number.
To Upload a ShowCase cover
- Open an existing GreenLight cover document in InDesign
- Choose GreenLight Upload menu > Upload ShowCase cover
A progress bar confirms the ShowCase artwork preparation and upload - If this is the first upload, a dialog will confirm the creation of a new MasterPlan job
- The completed ShowCase is opened in MasterPlan online
