The CircularFLO Main Panel is shown when launching CircularFLO and can be shown again via the CircularFLO Window menu > CircularFLO Main Panel.
This panel handles the running of the conversion process and the purchasing and loading of credits.
The main panel shows your User ID number (a unique ten digit ID number that registers your Mac hardware with Circular Software), the amount of credits currently available and the exact version number of the software.
The three main buttons allow you to choose the type of output to make:
Create Fixed Layout EPUB / Amazon file: to generate both your fixed layout EPUB3 and KF8.
Create Reflowable EPUB / Amazon file: to generate both your reflowable layout EPUB3 and KPF.
Create W3C Audiobook LPF: to generate an audiobook to the W3C LPF format.
Buttons at the bottom of the CircularFLO Main Panel help with purchasing and loading of credits.
Copy your ID: Your User ID number is the unique ten digit ID number that registers your Mac hardware with Circular Software. This button copies the ID to the clipboard.
Purchase credits: A link to an online form to purchase credits for CircularFLO.
Load credits: Purchased credits can be loaded into CircularFLO with this button.
The free trial version of CircularFLO is restricted to outputting just the first ten pages of any book.
Proof pages have a small watermark placed at the top and bottom of each page with hyperlinks back to the CircularFLO website.
Proofs are made as valid EPUB and Amazon files and we recommend testing on devices.
When preparing your work and before using a credit, you may wish to make full page proofs.
As long as there is at least one unused credit showing in CircularFLO then the restriction to the first ten pages is lifted and proofs contain all pages. Proofs will still contain our watermark and a link to our website.
The text of within reflowable ebooks is randomly altered with watermark text to provide a functional but unpublishable proof.
