Slim selected images

This tool will reduce the file size of an image(s) by downsampling to an effective resolution of 350 pixels per inch. The Effective PPI, more important than the Actual PPI, takes into account any scaling that has been applied to the image. A target number of 350 ppi is sufficient for optimum print quality; having a number greater than this will not improve print quality, but will just mean an unnecessarily large file size. The same file format and amount of compression (if any) is retained.
