GreenLight Checks
A single rule which an entire InDesign document can be quickly checked against.
GreenLight checks can be used to check a wide variety of requirements for the InDesign document to output correctly.
Some examples of useful GreenLight checks include that an InDesign document:
- is the correct size and named according to client guidelines
- has all text appearing within the trim area
- is using fonts of the correct type and from an agreed list
- has images with the correct effective resolution and colour profile which are linked from a certain location
Each check can have one of two possible results. Checks are either true [YES] or false [NO]. A true result means that the document is set up in the required way and a false result means that the document has not been set up according to the requirements.
